Wood-free matters more than it sounds like marketing language: no timber floor or frame components means nothing to rot, swell or delaminate after years of washing down and South African summer humidity or coastal damp. The galvanised steel frame with composite wall panels is chosen for the same reason – a build designed to still be structurally sound a decade in, not just look tidy when new. Breast and breech bars are removable and collapsible, useful both for cleaning access and for reducing injury risk if a horse leans into them.

At 816kg empty weight, the Apollo is on the lighter side for a two-horse trailer, which matters directly for towing: a lighter shell leaves more of your vehicle’s braked towing capacity available for the two horses themselves, tack and water. That said, always calculate against the fully loaded weight, not the empty figure, before matching it to your tow vehicle.
