Comfort is Bockmann’s straightforwardly named answer to a common complaint about double-horse trailers: not enough room. It is built for horses up to 17hh with over 7’6″ of body height and more than 30 inches of usable stall width per horse – genuinely generous numbers that matter for bigger-bodied horses who feel boxed in by tighter standard trailers.

The extra stall width in particular is worth understanding in practical terms: 30 inches per horse gives noticeably more room to shift weight and balance during braking and cornering than the narrower stalls common on entry-level doubles, which shows up as a horse that arrives less sweated and tense after a long trip, rather than any single dramatic feature you can point to.

Construction follows Bockmann’s German engineering approach, built to handle repeated loading and long-distance towing without the flex and rattle that cheaper trailers develop after a few years of use. As with any wider, taller trailer, it carries a bit more weight and wind resistance than a compact double, so check your tow vehicle’s braked capacity against the fully loaded weight rather than assuming a vehicle that handled a smaller trailer will manage this one identically.
