Maximus Deluxe is Humbaur’s premium full-poly horsebox, imported from Germany and supported locally through Humbaur South Africa’s Cape Town operation – a two-horse trailer built around full-poly (polymer composite) body construction rather than the aluminium or steel panelling used by most of the brands in our range.

Full-poly construction is worth understanding as a genuinely different approach rather than a marketing variation on aluminium: polymer composite panels do not corrode at all, do not dent the way aluminium can from a knock or kick, and generally shrug off UV exposure over years outdoors better than painted steel. For a trailer that will sit outside between uses in strong South African sun, that UV and impact resistance is a real practical advantage over its working life, not just a spec-sheet feature.
