The tri-axle chassis is a meaningful choice, not just a spec upgrade. Three axles spread the combined weight of two horses and a fitted living area across more wheels, generally improving stability under braking and in crosswinds compared with a twin-axle trailer at the same weight – relevant on South African highways where long towing distances at speed between provinces are common rather than occasional.

Construction carries over Equi-Trek’s wood-free, composite-over-galvanised-chassis approach into the living area as well as the horse space, meaning the kitchen and sleeping area are built to handle repeated washing down and humidity without the swelling and rot risk of timber cabinetry.
